The Japan Toy Association, the JTA, would like to extend invitations to foreign toy companies to attend the Tokyo Toy Show 2006.
The Tokyo Toy Show which is organized by the JTA is the largest toy exhibition in Japan.
It has provided opportunities to introduce new products and to develop business relationships, thus attracting many toy retailers, distributors, and other toy-related business people.
The Tokyo Toy Show 2005 held on July 19 -21, 2005 was a great success with 110 exhibitors and 15,000 visitors which was up 28% in attendant from the previous Show.
Also, it was featured on 28 TV broadcasts.
However, the number of foreign exhibitors has been limited in the past 2-3 years due to limitation of the exhibition space.
In order to continue the momentum of this year’s success, the JTA has decided to further develop the Tokyo Toy Show 2006.
The JTA is pleased to announce that the Tokyo Toy Show 2006 is 1.5 times bigger than that of 2005.
The Tokyo Toy Show 2006 will be held on July 13 -16, 2006 (15th and 16th will be open to the public) at the West Exhibition Hall 1-4 of Tokyo Big Sight.
The JTA is planning to make the Tokyo Toy Show 2006 an international toy fair by inviting foreign exhibitors and presenting toys from around the world.
We are convinced that Tokyo Toy Show 2006 will provide a very effective opportunity for you to introduce your products to Japan and the world.
We welcome foreign toy companies to join the Tokyo Toy Show 2006.
Details of the Tokyo Toy Show 2006 will be finalized in November, 2005.
However, in order to allocate foreign exhibitors their desired booth space, the JTA would like to know beforehand your intention to participate and how many booths you will require.
You are kindly requested to confirm your intention to participate in the Tokyo Toy Show 2006 by fax or email to the JTA by November 5th, 2005 with the attached form.
